We’re officially heading back to The Wave—and we couldn’t be more excited! Registration is now OPEN, so lock in your spot early.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Students will dive into a five-day summer camp adventure packed with opportunities to deepen their faith while having a blast. Each day includes powerful worship sessions, Tribe Wars (our epic camp competition), free time for fun activities, small group discussions, and so much more.

We know sending your teenager to camp is a big decision, so here’s our promise to you:

1. They’ll experience Jesus in a personal and powerful way.

2. They’ll have insane amounts of fun, making memories that last a lifetime.

3. They’ll be safe—we take every precaution to ensure a secure and well-supervised environment.

As the event gets closer, we’ll post a full schedule online, but here are the basics:

• Departure: Thursday, May 21, 2024 (early AM)

• Late Bus departure available (tbd)

• Return: Monday, May 25, 2024 (late PM)

WHAT TO BRING

Make sure your teen packs these essentials:

• Bedding (pillow, sleeping bag, twin sheets etc.)

• Money for breakfast and lunch on travel days

• Money for coffee shop, ice cream shop, snack bar (optional)

• Snacks for the room

• Modest bathing suit (one-piece for girls)

• Towels (Bath and Beach)

• Toiletries

• Bible, pen & journal

• Flip-flops & tennis shoes

• Reusable water bottle (required)

• Backpack 

• Clothes for activities & casual wear

• Tribe-themed outfits

• Sunscreen

CAMP COST & PAYMENT PLANS

This covers everything: lodging, meals, transportation, and all camp activities. Payment plans are available with a $200 non-refundable deposit.

WHERE IS IT HAPPENING?

This year’s camp will be held at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center, located on the beautiful coast of Laguna Beach, Florida. You can check out all the awesome amenities by visiting Laguna Beach Christian Retreat's website. 

This Retreat Center is located right on the beach with our lodging/dorms just steps away from the dining hall, worship center, swimming pool and the beach!  

WHO’S GOING?

This camp is for current 6th-12th grade students who are eager to strengthen their relationship with Jesus. A dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and leaders will accompany the students to ensure an impactful, safe, and fun experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What adults are attending?
Our team includes pastors, church staff, and trained volunteer small group leaders—all background-checked and ready to ensure a great week. We aim for a 1:4 ratio of adults to students for maximum supervision.

Will middle and high school students be together?
We try to keep middle schoolers and high schoolers separate as much as possible. They’ll have grade-specific small groups, separate rooming, and most of the Tribe competitions will be divided by age. Some meals and worship sessions will be together.

How will we get there?
We’ll be using Rocky Top Tours for transportation. Their drivers are fully trained, licensed, and insured.

What if my student can’t take the morning bus?
For students who have finals that morning, there will be a later bus option. We also recommend asking your school if arrangements can be made for your student to take their finals early. Please contact us to check availability for alternative transportation. 

What will housing be like?
Students will stay in rooms with bunks and bathrooms. Security volunteers will be on-site to ensure safety.

What about meals?
Laguna Beach Christian Retreat will provide all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), but students are welcome to bring snacks. If your teen has allergies, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. There’s also an on-site snack store.

What should my student pack?
We’ll send out a detailed packing list via email closer to the event. For now, reference the essentials mentioned above!

Are scholarships available?
While we can’t offer scholarships directly, fundraising is easy! Reach out to us for ideas at students@foothillschurch.com.

Are refunds available?
Once you’ve registered, you’re responsible for the full balance. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds this year unless the event is canceled. However, you may transfer your spot to someone else with approval from Foothills Church.
