Patrick Weikle

"Being a Pastoral Intern at FC Students played a major role in my growth as a leader and as a Pastor. My internship gave me the opportunity to combine theories about ministry with practical opportunities to do ministry. I wouldn’t be as effective in ministry today without my FC Students internship."

Patrick is a former Pastoral Intern and is now our FC Kids Pastor.

Trey Stewart

"Through being an intern at Foothills I was able to have real life ministry experience and sit under some of the best leadership. It gave me opportunities to develop my leadership personally and helped me grow in certain areas as well. This internship challenged, equipped, and prepared me for the ministry I am in today."

Is Housing Avalable?

Free housing is available for those who live outside of the Maryville / Knoxville area. You will stay in one of our host homes.

Can I Receive School Credit?

Yes. We will work with your college or high school school to help you meet the requirements needed to earn credit. We have many high school students and Johnson University students who have gone through our program and have earned credit.

Each internship is different based upon their area of focus. But all should expect sometimes late hours and last minute requests. We estimate that most interns will work 16-24 hour work week.
